# Fable Chamber

The Fable Chamber is where the ledger becomes myth. A generative narrator reads the recent Chronicle entries and renders a short, mythic passage — the shrine speaking about itself.

## What it is (and is not)

* **It is** a narrative rendering of on-chain activity. Every fable is grounded in real, recent signatures.
* **It is not** a prediction, a signal, or a recommendation. It is prose.

## How a fable is composed

1. Recent Chronicle entries are selected as the source text.
2. The narrator receives them together with a short style prompt that keeps the tone consistent across sessions.
3. The output is presented as a passage, together with the specific entries (and therefore signatures) it drew from — so the fable is always traceable back to the ledger.

## Why bother

The shrine's whole thesis is that a public ledger *deserves* language. The Chronicle answers *what happened*. The Fable answers *what it felt like*. Both are always defensible against the chain.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://thesanctum.gitbook.io/thesanctum-docs/surfaces/fable.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
